This is my main guitar. For a ‘jazz’ guitar, it has a really creamy, singing sound. 175s are amongst the cheapest range of the full-bodied Gibson jazz guitars; however, having a laminated belly means that the guitar is much less prone to feedback problems when playing at serious band volumes. I have used this guitar since 1989 when I recorded my first CD under my own name (“Through green And Pleasant lands” [33jazz004]) and I still love it.
