This, in my opinion, is really the answer to playing ‘acoustic guitar’ live with a band! OK, it doesn’t sound like a classy acoustic with a nice microphone in front of it but it does sound every bit as good as a decent acoustic being amplified via a piezo pickup – without any of the feedback problems! Oh deep joy!! Yes, you really can play this guitar at band volumes and with an AER amp (and the Lexicon LXP1 to soften any piezo scratchiness), maintain a real quality sound with a great dynamic range. This is now my ‘live’ acoustic guitar which I use for anything from duo gigs to working with a full band.
